Critics’ Choice Awards 2019 film winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User Krista Natividad for a terrific score of 89.47% when predicting the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards film winners on Sunday. She is just ahead of a group of five people with 84.21% and has a great point score total of 14,700 by using the 500 super bets wisely.

Almost 1,800 people worldwide predicted these film winners for 19 categories chosen by the Broadcast Film Critics Association. The ceremony was live in Santa Monica and was hosted by Taye Diggs on CW.

Our top scorer had 17 of the 19 categories correct. In fact her only misses were for Best Original Screenplay (choosing “The Favourite” over “First Reformed”) and Best Score (choosing “If Beale Street Could Talk” over “First Man”).

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.

For the eight Editors predicting, Marcus Dixon leads the way with 73.68%. Daniel Montgomery and Matt Noble are then tied at 68.42%. Rob Licuria follows with 63.16%. Joyce Eng, Tom O’Neil and I are then in a three-way tie with 57.89%. Susan Wloszczyna is next with 47.37%. See Editors’ scores.
